rich spa/poor spa

How does a girl get bang for buck in Banff?
Here's what I did..

I had my own hot yoga session in the hotel cedar sauna, I had conditioner in my hair and lotion on to "sink in" Maybe people though I was a bum and thats why they didnt come in.

Then I used my own products in my hotel bathroom for a mud mask microdermabrasion, all while listening to "Om" on the Ipad

Finally comes the splurge:  The big fancy banff springs hotel spa
Ouuuuu weee!
Here's a pop quiz.
You could tell I was not a regular at Banff spa because
1) I drank the equivalent of a small village in mineral water which tasted like cucumber guts - how do they do that?
2) I fancied the lotion in the ladies room so much I slathered it on my bathrobe to sniff as I read books by the pools,
3)because of a and b I went to the bathroom every 30 mins,

If you picked all of the above, you are correct. No one can say I didn't have a flushing detox action going on that day.
That place is so cool, they pipe classical music underwater so you can finally become the synchronized swimmer you've always wanted to be!
I finished with the best massage of my life. and a hot/cold shower in place of a contrast bath.
Om is right, beaches!

momma mia!

She looks like she's having fun. But, look how fast she's working, her hand is a blur!

Boys just wanna have fun , but in a mall that is quite the challenge. Bass Pro shops makes the experience digestible for him. Where does the quarter go?

seeing Sandy dwarfed by furniture in Canmore was giggleworthy.

We stayed at a bed in breakfast in Banff that had homemade bread, muffins and jam. . Holiday Lodge B and B- if you are in Banff- three thumbs up!

Just add Shannon and you have yourselves- Charlie's Angels!! Fierce!

at the museum(s)

As you can see from our picture, Bev and Mel can consider themselves to be expert museumers, museum goers. You know what I mean!
We visited Lougheed tea house, the Glenbow, the Telus Spark Centre as well as Canmore's museum.
Are you tired yet?
Here's a tip on museums. Never set yourselves up for failure. Pick a few things to read and move on sister. You will never remember all the details on everything, so save your brain and your energy and make the trip under a few hours. You can always come back.
