Alberta-bound

The trip home was a blast. We timed the trip across Great Slave Lake on the ferry at Fort Providence almost perfectly.  We stopped along the way to view twin falls- Alexandria and Louise. There were not one but double rainbows there which the picture doesn't do justice for. The hotel water slide brought out the kid in both of us at High level, the "city of lights".  Their claim to fame is a strip of highway in the middle of nowhere that looks like Vegas. Strange, isn't it? Just like Melita MB has a giant banana statue, every town has quirky charm in some way.

Sean tolerated me as I busted out a song or ten and read books to him. We buffalo watched, we bird watched... Then those lovely mountains came into sight.
